Do you know that Israel is only the size of the Kruger National Park? The population is only approx. nine million – about the same as the population of London. Yet Israel has a disproportionate impact on world politics. For example, a search of Google shows Israel, which is 114x smaller than Algeria, appears four times more in the news than Algeria. Why? Why does the world care so much about an insignificant blip on the world map? It is interesting to note that nearly every world map has Israel positioned in the centre, with Jerusalem as the capital in the middle of Israel. And, this is exactly what God said. “This is what the Sovereign LORD says: This is Jerusalem, which I have set in the centre of the nations, with countries all around her.” (Ezekiel 5:5). This is Jerusalem, God’s chosen home. “For the LORD has chosen Jerusalem; he has desired it for his home. “This is my resting place forever,” he said. “I will live here, for this is the home I desired.” (Psalms 132:13-14). Today take confidence that our Heavenly Father is in control. You are not small and insignificant in His eyes. He cares about you, and just like Jerusalem he wants to make His dwelling place with you forever. Open Bible – https://bit.ly/eze5-5, https://bit.ly/psa132v13-14
