Isa 57v1-2 Gone too soon

“Too soon!” Our cry of despair when someone precious unexpectedly dies. While life is filled with joy and challenge, hope and disappointment, death is a blade that slices across everything. A devastating finality. A searing anguish. There is only one occasion where the gospels mention Jesus crying, and it is when he is standing outside the tomb of his dear friend Lazarus, and his heart is broken by the despair of those around him. Even though he would perform a miracle beyond human comprehension, Jesus is torn by grief at the pain of death. Why Lord? Why so suddenly? We may not know all the reasons, but God does tell us why he sometimes takes His children away unexpectedly. “Good people pass away; the godly often die before their time. But no one seems to care or wonder why. No one seems to understand that God is protecting them from the evil to come. For those who follow godly paths will rest in peace when they die” (Isaiah 57:1-2). But that’s not all. To weeping Mary, Jesus said. “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die” (John 11:25) – And with that, he shouted, “Lazarus, come out!” And death was smashed as Lazarus rose to life. It’s this promise Jesus guarantees for all the Godly gone too soon. Soon! Open Bible – http://bit.ly/Isa57v1-2, http://bit.ly/Joh11v25, http://bit.ly/READMore_
