“He’s got his dad’s nose”. “She’s got her mom’s eyes”. We have all noticed how children have characteristics of their parents. It’s the DNA passed down that makes them recognizable as family. God’s DNA is love (1John 4:16). A divine love that loves undeservedly. And so, if we want to be part of His family we need this same DNA. We need to be obedient to God. We need to love, unconditionally. It’s then that we become part of the greatest family ever – with the greatest brother ever – As Jesus says, “Whoever does God’s will is my brother and sister and mother.” (Mark 3:35). Will you be recognized as part of God’s family today?
