Psa 139:24 – Pointing out problem

Having my mouth wide open while the dentist has three hands and multiple sharp objects in my mouth is not my favorite experience. The worst part is when he touches a sore spot causing a jolt of pain while asking, “Is this the spot?” – as though my convulsing body isn’t answer enough. Yet, painful as it is, identifying the problem is how we can fix it. “Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.” (Psalms 139:24). This prayer is easy to say, but not easy to experience. However, if we ask God to point out our shortcomings, He can help us, and give us not just teeth that last longer, but life that lasts forever. Open your heart today for God and listen as he leads you along the path of everlasting life.
