There’s a saying that “the last one to discover water is a fish”. Fish, who live and exist in water don’t realise it, that is until they are removed from the water. They live their lives freely, in the vast and beautiful ocean. The water is their home, food, oxygen, transport, existence. For us, the same is true. God is our water. He is our source of sustenance. Our life. Our existence. Yet most of us don’t realise it until we are removed from him. “For in him we live and move and exist.” (Acts 17:28). Pause…just for a moment. And open your eyes and ears and heart and look and see God all around you, in whom you live, move, and exist.
Act 17:28 – Exist in God
