How good are you at arriving on time? Or completing a job on time? Some people are better than others. But what about God? Is he precise in his timing? “In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent. For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has appointed. He has given proof of this to everyone by raising him from the dead.” (Acts 17:30-31). We are told that God has marked a specific day in his divine calendar when Jesus will return. When Israel was taken into captivity in Egypt, God had already planned, to the day when they would be set free. “Now the length of time the Israelite people lived in Egypt was 430 years. At the end of the 430 years, to the very day, all the Lord’s divisions left Egypt.” (Exodus 12:40-41). It was “to the very day”. God, who made time itself, is precise. And he has set a day, soon, when Jesus will return. As sure as the sun rises, so too is the coming of Jesus. That day is coming! Open Bible – http://bit.ly/Act17v30-31, http://bit.ly/Exo12v40-41
