I remember planting seeds for the first time on a farm. It seemed crazy that these small seeds wouldn’t just get lost and die below all the soil. Yet returning a couple of weeks later and a beautiful row of leafy plants boasting peas now filled the empty space. Because we planted the pea seeds, peas grew. If we had planted bean seeds beans would grow. So what do we plant if we want to harvest the most precious thing of all, love? God says, “Plant the good seeds of righteousness, and you will harvest a crop of love.” (Hosea 10:12). Divine love is found only in God. If we want to experience this transcending love, He asks us to sow righteousness. It might seem crazy, unlikely, or even impossible, but doing good will result in us experiencing a harvest of love. So, even if it seems challenging, plant righteousness and you will harvest a crop of love.
