Isa 41v10 – Learning to ride

It feels like I’m flying as I enjoy the exhilaration of riding my bike down a winding mountain track. Who would have thought that something with only two wheels, which can’t stand on its own when moving, can let you experience something so incredible? It seems to defy logic. Yet it’s something every kid learning to ride a bike must face. There is no magic until they move. And so it’s often with dad holding the bike as the child rides that slowly but surely learning happens – until eventually the child is riding, and everything changes. It’s the same with our experience of God. People can tell you how amazing it is. Yet faith, the “bicycle” that changes everything, only works when we are moving. Faith only works in action (James 2:26). Yet we doubt. We fear. It seems illogical. But our loving heavenly father stands alongside us and says, “Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10). Upheld by Him our wobbling faith begins to move and defying logic, we experience inexplicable joy and everything changes. All God needs is for you to believe in Him and start to pedal. He won’t let you fall, but he will bring your faith to places too amazing for words. Open Bible – https://bit.ly/isa41v10, https://bit.ly/jam2v26
