Phi 1:9-10 – What really matters?

“What really matters?” That’s a good question to ponder. We all need to ask ourselves as we navigate life; What really matters? We can get sucked into situations where all our time and energy are put into things that really don’t matter. Here’s God’s view of what really matters. “I pray that your love will overflow more and more, and that you will keep on growing in knowledge and understanding. For I want you to understand what really matters, so that you may live pure and blameless lives until the day of Christ’s return.” (Philippians 1:9-10). What really matters is love. Not just love, but love that overflows. When something overflows you get an insight into what is inside the container. God tells us that what really matters is a love that overflows. And this is no ordinary love. This is a love overflowing from a growing knowledge of God within us. This is what we are called to. Get to know God, and the evidence of that knowledge must be an overflowing love. Let’s look at our lives. Let’s see what we talk about. What we think about. The overflowing. And this will tell us if we are pursuing what God says really matters. 🌱 Open Bible – https://bit.ly/phi1v9-10
