Pro 3:5-6 – The app

“There’s a lovely walk in the forest here.” These are the words that started our unplanned hike. However, it wasn’t long before we were unsure of which way to go. It’s then that I remembered I had an app on my phone that has maps of trails. Using this, we found the way. Further along the trail, my phone buzzed and displayed a message, “You are off route”. Consulting the map again, we discovered we had taken a wrong turn. The app enabled us to experience a fantastic hike rather than become the stars in an episode of “Lost in the wilds”. We are all on a journey through life. There are paths we don’t know and directions we are unsure of. Either we just stumble on, hoping we will make it, or we consult someone who knows the paths of life and all its twists and turns. Someone who will give us directions in life and warn us when we are off route. “Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.” (Proverbs 3:5-6). If there’s one app you should install today, it’s iPray.
