Psa 121:1-2 Misty cross

Psa 121:1-2 Misty cross

On the mountain behind our home is a cross. Its bright white colour stands out in stark contrast to the dark rocky terrain. Over the Easter period, it even shines brightly at night, illuminated by lights. However, today while out on a run, I look up, and I can hardly see it as clouds envelop the mountain peak. Briefly, it appears before once again being concealed by the swirling mist. No matter how strong our faith is, there are times when the troubles of life swirl like mists around us, making us lose sight of God. In these times, it feels like we are alone. Like God is not with us. Yet, God never loses sight of us. He is the maker of mists and mountains. He is above all our mists and mountains. He sees beyond our troubles to his good plan for us. And in this, even when we cannot see, let us take comfort. Let this be our prayer. “I look up to the mountains; does my strength come from mountains? No, my strength comes from GOD, who made heaven, and earth, and mountains.” (Psalms 121:1-2). Open Bible – https://bit.ly/psa121v1-2
