Psa 139v14 – Wonderfully made

Stop for a moment. Lift your hand and study it. Look at the skin covering your hand. Your skin is the organ that comes into contact with the rest of the world. It holds body fluids in, preventing dehydration, and keeps harmful microbes out—without it, we would get infections. Your skin is full of nerve endings that help you feel things like heat, cold, and pain – which keeps us alive. Now, look at your fingertips. Did you know that each of your fingertips has more than 3,000 touch receptors, making them capable of detecting subtle variations in texture? Every day, people ask – Where is God? Why don’t we see miracles today like they did in Biblical times? I’ve just shared two miraculous properties of your skin and fingertips. Something we take for granted, yet without which we wouldn’t survive a day. The very act of breathing is a miracle. In Psalms, David declares, “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” (Psalm 139:14). Your very existence is a miracle. Be thankful for the wonderful way you have been made. Open your eyes (another miracle) and see God’s wonderful works all around you. Let’s praise our Creator, for we are fearfully and wonderfully made. Open Bible – https://bit.ly/Psa139v14 (Nicky B)
