NASA recently released the first images of stars, 2500 light years away, never before seen by humans. Each spot of light in the images are galaxies containing billions of stars. It’s incomprehensible. But what’s really incomprehensible is that “By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, their starry host by the breath of his mouth” (Psalms 33:6). The mind boggles to comprehend that some of those stars are 1500 times bigger than our sun. And our God made them all by his word, by the breath of His mouth. What God speaks happens. What God breathes comes into existence. God, the heaven maker, is speaking to you. Listen to him. God, the star breather, is breathing life into you. Let him work in your life. If you are in awe of his work above you, you’ll be even more in awe of his work inside you.
Psa 33:6 – Star breather
